Hey guys just thought I would throw this out there.

So for the past few days, my car hasn't been starting. I thought it was the battery so I replaced it, and it still wouldn't start. I finally figured out what it was after three days of arguing with my car. It was the little black clip on the starter. I started it and drove it back home and then turned it off and tried to turn it back on and it didn't crank again. So I then got under the car and pushed it back on and it started right up. Anyone have any ideas on what I should do to secure that clip back on, and if anyone can't figure out why their car won't start, try looking at that little clip on the starter. Thanks guys.

interesting. You know what it does? I mean other than cause your car not to start if loose.

I had kind of the same problem, but mine turned out to be the switch in the clutch. Car wouldn't start at all, replaced the battery had a couple of people come and looka t it...and finally we figured out it was clutch pin.
