Hey Guys How do you mount your AST with your M2 Intercooler?

I Jury Rigged Mine with some Wire so it doesnt touch the Drive belt. Is anyone running an AST with the M2 Intercoolers? If so whats your set up? There is no Bracket on the intercooler to mount the AST.

Yup. That because the M2 intercoolers have terrible fitment. I rigged mine with zip ties, and it seems that everyone else does that too. I just eliminated my AST to solve the problem permanently.

As far as fitment fo the M2, it seems manufacturing tolerance can range on the pipes, not really the IC core. Some have trouble with the crossover pipe (hot side pipe) rubbing the hood even though its as low as it can possibly go. As far as my set up, I got a nice shiny L bracket from Autozone along with some JB WELD, and mount the L bracket right in the middle if the IC core. It sticks out enough so that the AST doesn't rest on the IC fins or block flow coming through. AST- air separation tank.

Got the idea from a picture off of PFS 3 rotor where he did something similar.

I located mine in the same location as "wantpearshaped", but I used marinetex expoxy to attach two tie wrap blocks to the intercooler shroud. Then I zip tied the AST in place and so far it has worked great.

you can also take one of the air cleaner brackets and another hose clamp. clamp the bracket to the pipe and bolt the ast to that.

I'll try to take some pics but it could be a few days since the only thing I didn't get for X-mas was the digital camera I asked Santa for. I did get a DVD player though instead, but I think Santa gave that one to me so that WE both could use it.
