AZ hesitation issue please help

i recently had a brand new tranny (auto) installed 4 days ago and yesterday it started acting up really strange. in between 1-2 rpms it will hesitate it feels almost like fuel cut off. I replaced the plugs and wires and it seem to run okay for a small test drive then it started acting up again. but if i step on the gas it will go up the rpms just fine it seems to hate going a steady speed. please help.
