Hesistation/"Fuel Cut" - Suspect ECU?
Now that I have my wastegate ported, I've been tuning with my profec B. I have come across something odd and bad. Set at 12psi, in third gear at ~6KRPM WOT, I hit a stumble to what feels like fuel cut. A/F meter drops off the lean scale, exhaust is loud, and i'm thrown forward. BUT within a few more RPM, it catches itself and pulls fine to redline. It doesn't do this at 10psi or below, but often occurs at my high setting...NOT ALWAYS. I have begun to suspect the remapped ECU. I don't know who remapped it, but it seems like they missed a single point on the curve. Is this possible? It is supposedly remapped to handle 1 bar of pressure, said the previous owner. There is no sticker on the ecu to represent the shop that did it. I'm going to replace the fuel filter this weekend in wishful thinking. Any other ideas what this could be? I'm probably getting a Power FC in the spring, but let's start with the cheap suggestions

They're less than 3 months old. Taylor Spiro Vertex 8mm. I think i can remember the same phenomenon with the stock wires though... But i'll check to make sure they're clean and tight.
