Helped my Friend with the non-seq conversion
Helped my Friend with the non-seq conversion, it was pretty easy, the hard part was putting on his Y-pipe (we put on his Efini Y Pipe). My god that took a long time!!!
Anyways he is running a PowerFC which we installed today as well as his fuel pump upgrade. We changed out his oil and tranny fluid as well. He seems to be running fine although i think he is getting lots of turbo lag cuz of his stock cat (he has a dp and catback).
Anyways, I'd like to say Don't be a Rikki's How to write up as well as his Personal help made things go really smoothly!

did you do anything different because your friend has a PFC? I am just about to go out and do mine. I think I am just going to do it just like dontbearikki.com wrote it up. Will I have problems since I have a PFC? Should I do anything different?

What we did was
precontrol vaccum lines = connected
wastegate vaccum lines = plugged
precontrol elec. connector = disconnected (actually we just plugged it in to the wastegate connector cuz we did not want a connector just hanging in the engine bay)
wastegate elec connector = connected to precontrol connector
Stupid me keep getting the precontrol actuator mixed up with the TCA actuator. This is because on my car, the previous owner welded the precontroler open for some reason. Also, the TCA actuator was hidden under a metal plate (I can't belive I missed it the first time i looked under my car about a week ago, its the big *** actuator that is posted on Dont_Be_A_Rikki's site). I have some photos I will post of how it went.
P.S. Don't put in a Y-pipe if you don't need to, that thing took such a long time lol. We started at 10am and finished at 11pm. This was because we took our time and watch videos for a long time though (we were watching the Option Video, the special one with the FDs and another one with girl drifters).
If you only do the non-seq, you should be done very quickly.

i am gonna go non seq. cuz I just put in my efini Y pipe also. That thing was a bitch. I finally just took off evrything around the thing. Then I had to hit the old Y pipe with a rubber mallet for a bout 20 minutes till it came off. Right now I am just finishing up the job. I thought it would be easy, man I was wrong.

Will converting to non-seq eliminate my 1-2 gear boost issues?
