Exclamation HELP!! trans will not go in

help the transmisson will not go in. can someone help me.???

is it a different trans or the same one that was in there when u pulled it out

same one just had to replace the top gaskets ontop that were leaking

If you didn't support the engine before dropping the tranny then the engine is tilted up towards the rear hatch. This makes it difficult to get the angle right. You need to pick the tranny way up and slide it in on an angle. You may want to try and push the engine down near the UIM with a stick or something to help with the angle. Please don't ask how I know! LOL

thank you northern7 i just got back from doing that and just read the post and you are right i had my knee on the oil pan and saw it tilt and i was like mybe thats why. thank you everybody for your help
