help with taillights

i'm having issues with the taillights and gauge cluster not lighting up. brake lights work, turn signals work, and the head lights work. the switch is ok and the fuses are good as well. what else could be the problem? what exactly is this joint box in my wiring diagrams? anyone???

Joint box is your fuse box under your left feet.

i had te same problem last night, it is the 15amp fuse in the driver side kick panel, if you put a new fuse it and it pops right away when you turn on the light then something is ground out. my problem was that a wire just rubbed against they body for a longtime and finally gound itself out and caught fire, i seperated it and waped electrical tape and wired loomed it, works now.
Good luck on yours, took me 8hrs to track down, i tore the whole center consol and dash to check all the wires, took out the tail lights to check that, and then fiinally the front end to see the melted wire.
