Help with starting issues-did the typical solutions

Sup guys,

So, I haven’t started my car in about 2 months, and decided today was the day. It cranks/turns over, but just won’t start. In case it was flooded, I went ahead and pulled the relay and tried that trick, no luck. I decided to eliminate the common issues by installing new spark plugs and wires (NGK) and also put in a new battery. Still nothing.

I searched and got a mix of answers, but my symptoms seem different. Could it be that my starter went bad because of this 2 month pause? I don’t think it would, but I cleaned the ground terminals anyway, again, with no luck.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

I always wonder why if the engine cranks/turns over the starter is suspect ? ? ? ?

do the standard checks first:

got spark at each plug?
got fuel?
battery voltage when cranking?

does the car try and start or does it just crank?

When using ATF to free sticking apex seals, you must put at least 2 oz in each rotor. Then let it sit overnight before cranking. Give it time to soak, but NEVER USE engine flush or Solvent. It will damage the special soft metal coating material on each side of the rotors.

When cranking, do the normal purge sequence, ignition relay and fuel pump fuse removed. Re-install both fuses, spark plugs then start it.

I would add premix cycle oil (AMS oil) about 4 oz per tank full gas.

Hope this works, if not, you probably got an ignition problem.
