Help starting car

Hey guys, I have a problem starting my fd, instead of me going into the car and trying to start it everytime my friend said i could hook up a switch to the starter directly and start it that way, is this true??? I want to get this started today so any help is appreciated, If it is possible, how do i hook it up to the starter?

theoretically possible i think... you'd just wire the switch in between the 'on' and 'ground' wires on the ignition barrel. you'd need to use a sprung switch to ensure your starter motor disengaged though.

same priniciple as a starter button... almost

They sell those switches at you local parts store. It was ment to turn the engine over with out being in the car, but you can start it like that. all you do is connect one end to the small lead spade connector and the other end to the positve side of the starter and your in business.
