Hey guys I got a question for you. Id appreciate if anyone could help.

I am constantly blowing quite a bit smoke at high rpm like between 5000-7000. mabye im dumb but i think its a little more than normal.

here are my mods: intake, DP, MP, and apexi gt spec exh, AVC-R, non-sequential conversion, and G-force ECU

I hit boost very accurately (smooth curve), no weird sounds comming from the turbos, and I feel no loss in power. I boost around 11-12 psi.

Could there be a problem with my car? or is it normal?

I don't have a mp, but from what I've heard you'll get some smoke at high RPM's with a mp.

Did it just start and it wasn't doing it before? Or did you just do some mods and you now see the smoke after the mods?

Sounds normal, but someone with a mp can chime in....

 

Is it usually black smoke?? And do you see it usually after revving and then getting off the accel? This I would think is probably normal cuz there isn't any cat to burn off anything..

A buddy of mine runs straight pipes from the turbo's back and when it's romps on the accel and let's go, there's usually a puff of smoke...

Granted he's got a Supra..but same theory..right?

 

it might also be because im running a little rich. The Ecu is set for I/C and Streetport which I dont have.
