Help removing thermosensor clip?
Dang, i've unbolted the whole water housing to get to the sob and still I can't pull it out far enough to turn the housing upside down to reach the clamp/lever thing. From looking at the new peice I believe I have to pull out instead of push in to release it. I can't feel the lever. I tried a tiny screwdriver but just can't slide it in. Maybe some astroglide and a jimmy hat? hehe, no seriously can anyone help?

Which sensor are you talking about? The green, two-wire one for the ECU that has the metal clip?
If the clip is pointing down, get something with a hooked end to get under there to grab the metal clip and pop it to the slide. Or use your fingernail - us old time 2nd gen guys got really good at undoing those, since it's the same as the old-style fuel injector connectors.

I don't know what it looks like other then somewhat of an idea from the new thermosensor which looks like it is a pull type instead of push. I wanted to pull the water pump housing and turn it upside down but the wires won't strech far enough. I have no idea if it has a metal clip. It's the two wire green coupler/connector to the green water thermosensor on the rear of the water pump housing above the black wireless plug thing. Maybe if I can find a paperclip, I can try the hook thing.

It was a push type clip but the trick was to push on the other end (housing/front bumber side) and not towards the wires (rats nets/firewall side). Got her off easily after I found the right spot (hmm, sounds strangly familar).
