I need to re-seal the oil pan and have dropped the sub-frame but can't get the ball joint studs to release from the spindle knuckle. On page R20 of the FSM they call for SST 49 0118 850C Puller, Ball Joint, to do the job. I've read in some write-ups that the stud can be hammered out but mine aren't budging. Any suggestions?
