Angry Help removing front shock!

this is suspension related, and ik now i should put it there, but its for my fd so i am going to post in here too:

ok so i got my new tein flex suspension. i have 3 of the stock struts and springs out, but, as always, one has to be a bitch. the front passengerside will not let go. the one bolt at the bottom is rusted absolutly completly fast. ive tried everything, beat it, heated it, airhammered it. the collar on the inside is rusted to the bolt and they will not let go. one of the sleeves *on the bolts side* is coming out with the head of the bolt. the other end of the bolt is so fucked up now i dont think its giong to go through the hole unless i grind or cut it off. im sorry guys, im just really really frustrated and pissed *as im sure all of you have been* and need advice on how to get this 'welded' bolt out of there. im about ready to just take the cutting torch and cut the bottom of the strut open, but im worried about messing something else up. any advice will be greatly appreciated

keep heating it red hot and chucking water on it...the rapid expansion and contraction eventually releases the rust.

If nothing else, grind one end of the bolt off and punch the whole thing through...

Hard to tell without seeing it, but I'd try a generous soaking with PB, and give it some time to make its way in there. I've gotten some ridiculous bolts unstuck with PB, but I still come across a lot of people that have never heard of the stuff.

Sorry, didn't read that part completely. If the bolt can't slide out, I'd use a grinder to cut it down.

well i got it out by using the torch to heat up just the bolt and air hammering it from the other side. the thing is so rusted...pitted really bad, ill have to get a new one probably. but i got it out and the tein all in finally. might go for a test drive soon.

PB BLASTER, penatrating oil. VERY good stuff. As mentioned earlier, it gets some amazing results if you give it a few hours, or even overnight.
