help putting fd back together :/
hello all,
first of all, i have searched the forums and googled with no help...
anyways i am in the process of installing an engine into my new fd(bought a shell, and a good running engine to put in). so far it has been hell, as the rats nest was removed and now i am stuck having to put everything together. needless to say i am stuck on the nest... i have the vacuum diagram from this forum and it helped alot, but not fully. i do not know where the two turbo actuator hoses go to as the diagram is not that clear. secondly, my engine set up did not come with the "pressure chamber". can i run the car without the pressure chamber as well as the "vacuum chamber"? if not, then i suppose i will have to find and buy a pressure chamber... anyone who happens to live in the atlanta area and reading this, i would love for your help! i have beer!
thanks all,
marlon

well, yes and no. the shell was complete with broken engine, turbos, intercooler, intakes, well it was a complete car minus interior carpet. the engine that was in the car ran nonsequential, but the engine i bought was plainly stock. the engine setup i bought was the engine minus powersteering and ac pump, intercooler, intake, radiator, downpipe and exhaust. so now i have essentailly 2 of everything, but no pressure chamber lol

yeah, i think i need it too... thats the only thing missing! i am in sandy springs up ga400. are you in columbus? i see you're in the army? im from columbus(dad retired at benning). im talkin to this one guy who may have a pressure chamber for 15 shipped. other than missing that, i still need to figure out where the 2 turbo actuators attach to, bleed the clutch, and go ahead and install everything like the upper intake manifold, throttle body, intercooler, intakes. i have a hook up on a pfc and am wondering if i can go ahead(after successfully running my car and passing emissions) would i be able to block off everything, remove that horrible nest, and the thought of nonsequential turbo setup... i have read up on nonsequential and i guess i still need more opinions regarding if i should do it or not... that and also planning on getting a front mount or v mount ic....

As far as the hoses that come out of the Turbo Actuator one goes to the turbo control solenoid and the other one goes on the LIM turbo turbo control solenoid valve.
I would not get rid of emmisions if your in a area that smog tests .
Im actually at fort stewart. wouldnt mind going to benning though!

I just did the poor mans non sequential, because my turbo control solenoid was broke one of the steps is removing the pressure chamber and blocking off the lines and blocking off the lines to the turbo control valve,

Hey guys finally started the car yesterday! Only for 15 sec max though- one of the oil cooler lines wasnt tight and was spitting oil so I had to shut her off. Fixed it, and tried to start her again, but I guess I flooded the engine so I ended for the day. A few questions though. 1. I changed my slave cylinder, bled it, but there is still no pressure on my clutch pedal any ideas for this? Also, my intake is the apexi intakes, there is one line that is still open. I also have the air pump line open(coming from the back of the air pump) and the big line open from the back of the lim. Anyone have a hose diagram for this? I have 3 open lines, do not know where they connect to :/
