i swapped a used engine into my fd a little while ago but it wont start. te engine cranks, all the right lights come on when i turn the ignition, its getting fuel, everything seems to be fine but im getting no spark.. relays and fuses are all fine. anybody have any ideas? thanks!

i doubt its coils. i think it might be a little deeper then that. i have a jdm vehicle and i bought a domestic engine for it. but i took the engine harness off this engine and i put a
JDM one on it so all the plugs around the ECU would fit.. but everything fit good on the engine.. so i dont know.. how can i check the coils?

 

Make sure you got all the grounds in place. I had the same problem.

 

ur car also makes the beeep sound as well man u should mention that

 

yea i turn the key over and about 15 seconds later itll just start doing this long beep that sounds like a flatline on a heartrate monitor..
