So what were you getting BEFORE you installed the valve? If you installed the valve on the wastegate, it will allow you to control it regardless of what turbo you are on, but it certainly won't give you more or less boost on one turbo. Are you SURE you installed it on the wastegate and not on the prespool actuator? It kind of makes sens what is happening if you installed it on the prespool. Basically, you are letting more pressure vent into the prespool actuator letting more exhaust get away from the primary turbo and into the 2nd

What does your transition look like?
I think you should install a valve also on the prespool. It sounds like, to me, like you never had any pills in there to begin with. By installing a valve on the prespooler, you will also be limiting the amount of exhaust being used to prespool the 2nd turbo, and this will allow that exhaust to stay with the 1st turbo and allow you to run higher boost with it. The prespool acts like a mini-waste gate, in the sense were the more you prespool the 2nd turbo, you are likely to see less boost on the 1st turbo.

This is all, of course, assuming you made sure you never had any boost leaks anywhere to begin with!

r u running with the pills in the hoses...do the prespooler as well.

I had a similar problem a while back...I took out the pills and went with a larger hose size...now I am boosting properly.

watch out for large spikes when first tuning that thing....

good luck

Yes. Start by having them opened at least 1 full turn from fully closed and work your way towards being closed in 1/8 increments. It is VERY sensitive once it starts kicking in.
