i see posts with people pulling their engines all the time .. my question is: where did you guys get your pullies?

I believe the word you're looking for is "engine hoist" , or maybe "engine lift." Autozone or Pep boys has them for sale, and you can rent them from some equipment rental places.

Harbor Freight also has good deals on engine hoists. I got mine there for around $150.
