HELP NO SPARK Spark none HELP

after taking my car back on the road after a year it runs great 15lbs single turbo and stock motor....... all the upgrades and a powerfc with the 1600cc combo...

all the sudden my car will not start... so i chek plugs and change them check ignitor and change them.... check coils and change them... starter and all the stuff above has been replaced or changed to good stuff... stock of course..... going through the tech manual... i have checked IAC motor, Crankposition sensors water tempsensors etc.... everything is fine but still NO SPARK!!!!......

my question is i do not hear a click when i turn the key like i used to..... and the motor spins fine and i have excellent compression but no spark... to get the motor cranking.. in the manual it says somthing about a magnetic somthing or other it looks attached to the starter that i guess is connecter to the ignitor in some way... looking for some advice.....

in summary::::: motor spins fine
good compression
New PLUGS
New Wires

New coils and ignitor
gone throuh the tech manual with a fine tooth comb

HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

Did you check to see if the coil is getting power with the key on.

How do you know you don't have spark?
You could be flooded.
Check for spark by taking one of the plugs out, reattach the ignition wire, hold it against the block (or a good grounding point) and look for a strong blue spark. If it's weak, the plugs are fouled and the engine is most likely flooded as well.

Did you check the EGI fuse?? Or, how the 120amp white fuse? either one of those could cause your problem...

Also, where is your battery located?? Point is, if the connections (plugs) that insert in the bottom of the + side fuse box which typically mounts to the "stock location" batteries + terminal are screwed up and not making a solid connection, that could also cause your problem. I Had a similar experience recently...

My idiot lights would come on but, in my case the engine wouldn't spin over... Also, is your air bag coding?? out?

we just went through this. Check your big engine fuses. we had one test well, but it didn't work in the car. PM Jason93rx7r1 and he'll tell you which.

if you have the stock ecu i would pop it in and see if the car has spark, not likely the problem but worth a try. Did you check the connector for the cas, ohm the coils to see if they are good, is the ignitor getting power? Check all you fuses and relays and the grounds. And the parts that you replace, were these know good parts?

i dont know much about 3rd gens but i have the same problem as you and ive performed the same tests almost on my 2nd gen and is your igniter getting a trigger? if your coil went bad it might have fried your ecu dont know too much though cause i still havent got a new ecu so i dont have any spark either. in order to check my igniter i had to put my green/yellow wire (on the leading) along with a 12 volt source on my voltmeter set to ac. should see 5 volts...

It's a huge pain in the ***, but one of your crank angle sensors may not be working. You have to get beneath the pressure chamber mounted beneath the alternator. I believe they're $125 from mazda.

Again--crank angle sensors. Search for them--learn what they do--they could be the problem.

Again, swap your main engine fuzes with the guy who's coming over. One of yours *could* test well, but not actually work in the car.

Check your Relays!!!!!!!!! The EGI Replay in particular will kill the whole works, and the fuse can still be ok.

I have torn apart just about everything RE: the ignition system, including swapping the ECU and the ignitor, call me at 314.504.5070 or PM me I would be happy to help.

I also have a Crank Angle Sensor if you need one. I bought one thinking that was the problem and didn't need it.

Check all fuses and replays in the path of the ignition before pulling apart stuff.

Do you have fuel? Not only pressure at the line, pump running, etc etc; but also are the injectors firing? There are only a few things that run both, its worth checking in case. Plugs should get soaked when you are cranking and cranking.

What relays did you swap? Do you have a turbo timer in the way of the ignition harness? I assume you speced the two CASs did you check that the ECU's harness to them is ok?

If the CASs are bad you will get neither.
If the EGI relay is bad you will get neither.
Same goes for other relays, and several fuses.

If you think while not having fuel you should have spark, you are incorrect. Why would you not have fuel? Unless your tank is empty. Seeing that they are both not working is IMPORTANT. There are very few items in the car that control both.
