Help With new rx-7
I just bought a 93 rx-7, I'm going to put rims on it, body kit, lowered, strut tower bar, anti sway bar, cat back, intake, racing seats, and a pretty decent sound system. But I would like to know if there is anything else I should get to add hp and look nicer?

Next, take a look at this site about modifying stages:

pace yourself on mods depending on your budget.
If you plan on keeping the STOCK computer then do NO MORE than the following:
catback exhaust and down-pipe or
air intake and down-pipe or
air intake and catback
2 MODS only with STOCK computer or it WILL overboost and pop an apex seal at some point.
Then install hi-performance fuel pump. You obviously can do this at any time. The MO fuel the MO better. The very next thing in your budget should be a COMPUTER. POWER FC is what I recommend, but there are lots to choose from. Once you have the computer, you can then do all three of the above mods at the same time and a inner cooler upgrade as well. With that setup, you can SAFELY reach 300 - 310RWHP with STOCK injectors. If you want more HP than that you will need to SPEND MORE MONEY.
Wheels and Body Kits are nice, but they won't embarrass the unsuspecting SS or GT or Vette.
Good Luck

well u need to do your research first. Since your asking this question it seems as if u havnt. So lets start with making your reliable first.
Get a boost gauge. It will be very easy to spot vaccum leaks, or popped hoses under your UIM (Upper Intake Manifold)
Downpipe is a good step. It gets rid of all that nast engine bay heat and makes for a good power increase.
If your gonna do a dp, u will want to get an aftermarket exhaust system to relieve all that backpressure.
The stock ECU cant handle more than 10psi of boost, so watch that Boost gauge carefully. It goes beyond 10psi then u need to park it untill u get a new ECU.
Lots of the hoses under the UIM tend to get brittle from all that engine bay heat (which u are somewhat getting rid of with the dp) and break or come lose... A silicone hose job is your best solution to this problem. I believe Hose techniques sells the kits.
Change all the fluids in your car and make sure your oil and coolant levels are ok. Change your oil every 2k miles and of course oil filter at the same time.
The stock radiator went out on me at 77k miles. I would upgrade to a Koyo, Fluidyne or Mazcomp now, because u eventually will have to anyways.
The stock AST (air separation tank) is known to split at the seam, which spills coolant everwhere making your car overheat (overheating in a rotary is BAD NEWS!! and very costly $$$$) you can get an Aluminum AST from Pettit for about $150 or u can eliminate for about $30, take your pic.
warm up your car for about 3-5 mins when its cold before driving.
cool down your car accordinly to how hard you drive it. Usually if im boosting hard and doing some high speed passes i time for 1:30-2mins
thats all i can think of right now...ill probably add more later. lol

your best bet is to keep the car in the garage for about a week. dont drive it.
spend that week doing research on the entire car, as it seems you have done none so far. if you still have the car and decided to keep it instead of selling it after the first week of research, then you can begin to drive the car, and learn its handling/power characterisitics and so on. after you are used to the stock power, you can start to think about upgrades.

HP mods: Lots of stickers from tuners that you don't use parts from. Lot's of vynal splash on the side. Single wiper conversion. Forget a catback, just get 2 big exhaust tips and stick them on the stock muffler. These are just the basics..

the exhaust tips will help significantly though. the stock tips are dual 2.5" units. if you screw on dual 5" tips, that is roughly a 2500% increase from tips alone because of the increased area from two 2.5" circles to two 5" circles.
