When I started up my RX tonight I had a bad vibration coming from the engine compartment driver's side, so I quick shut the car down and tried to restart it. The engine cranked but would not start. Almost seemed like it wasn't getting any fuel. Did anyone else ever run into this problem? What could it be! Any info would be greatly appriciated. BTW the motor just hit 70,700mi.

Could be battery, poor battery connection, alternator or starter. If it's a fuel problem, is your fuel filter really old or your injector really dirty?

 

it's a really good possibility that your pre-cat is clogged. symptoms include: poor start, rough acceleration (hesitation), smoke at startup, etc.
