Help me spend some money

Ok....here's the deal...I am going to have a little extra cash flow bout $2200....Since I am CRC Block Weld bitch at the moment I would rather wait for any fuel mods such as injectors or fuel pumps until I have Rotary Performance do my rebuild. I would rather spend money on performance than bling...although bling is not out of the question. So here's what I can think of so far that I am getting
- Greddy 2 Row FMIC
- Short Shifter (don't know which one)
- Momo Cobra **** ****.
- ?
- ?

I figure I am going to have about 1300 spent there so that leaves me $800 to play with....

You can check my currnet mods in my Sig Link below.

How bout we donate that money to the Blackscorpio fund for unused performance parts - where we try our best to find them a home.

Hey BlackScorpio, didn't I see you post this same request in OneBadSeven's "Help me spend some money" thread? Still no luck huh? Keep trying, I feel some rich schmuck will come to your rescue soon...

Your sig doesn't mention an upgraded radiator, so I'd suggest an aluminum replacement, like the Fluidyne or Koyo radiator.

You could also go the suspension route, and get some new struts and springs

Good luck, and happy shopping!

I talked to Cam at Pettit about their Hiflow...he said if your stock one isn't clogged...don't bother. The stock one has bigger core and allows for plenty of exhaust flow...pretty much a production hiflow and about $1300 to replace. So he talked me out of throwing money in Pettit's direction for something that wouldn't help out too much...my advice is spend that $400 else where.

Along with the Koyo (or whatever) there are about $180 is water hoses you shuold replace if you have high miles.

HOSE UPPER RAD 93-95 15-186B-N3A1
HOSE LOWER RAD 93-95 15-185B-N3A1
HOSE HEATER 93-95 CORE TO PIPE R 61-211A-FD01
HOSE HEATER 93-95 PIPE TO CORE L 61-212A-FD01
HOSE HEATER 93-95 PIPE TO RAD(R) 61-214B-FD01
HOSE HEATER 93-95 ENG TO PIPE(L) 61-213B-FD01
HOSE WATER DISCONECT 93-95 61-240A-B455
HOSE WATER 93-95 TT FILLER NECK TO TANK 15-183A-N3A1
HOSE WATER 93-95 TT LOWER RAD TO TANK 15-184A-N3A1
HOSE WATER 93-95 TT PIPE TO THROTLEBODY 13-691A-N3A1
HOSE WATER 93-95 TT TANK TO OVERFLOW 15-380C-N3A1
HOSE WATER 93-95 TT R.HSG / THROTTLEBODY 13-681A-N3A1
HOSE WATER 93-95 TT TURBO TO RADIATOR 13-5360-N3A1
HOSE WATER 93-95 TT WATER PUMP TO TURBO 13-54X0-N3A1

and suspension...or save for some nice aggressive rims

Thanks for sharing about the HFC...I really want a MP but think I am going to leave the stock cat on and wait till RP does the rebuild...I am going to save the hoses you listed and have RP do them along with the rebuild. I figure It will be about 3-5k miles or the end of the year before it the motor gets pulled....So I think I have some good info of what to get....Now I am going to hit up the search button and see what you guys recommend on the shifter and the classic Koyo vs. Fluidine.

I can hit you with some comparision shots of stock and Koyo (what I choose)

PM me with an email address and I'll shoot those your way.

Minor fitment issues nothing hard to work around.

Why not use the money to get your engine rebuilt?

If you want a short shifter I recommend the B&M, one of the first things I bought for my car and I love it. Change all of your tranny/diff fluid to Redline as well when they do the rebuild.

Mine must have been clogged. I saw a noticable increase in butt dyno hp.

I have the B&M Short Shifter and I love it. Very short throws, and it feels very crisp.

I agree with mjw above, definitely change all of your fluids.

have fun!

I would like to have the radiator pics sent to me too if you could dubulup. My email is Lemacro28@cs.com. I'm going to replace the radiator and I am thinking of the Fluidyne/Koyo thing also.

I was thinking of Fluidyne, then Jason got the M2 ones in right after mine shipped, so I sent it back and went with the M2. Fit with 0 problems. Since I have been a lazy sack and not hooked up my water temp gauge, I can't tell you what the impact was...
