In my old car, I went for Show and not Go...after a while I had wished that I had gone for Go. It was nice to cruise around and bump the system (It was pretty nice) and stuff. I had the bodykit/rims/stereo and all that, but when people pulled up and asked if it was fast, or if anyone tried to race, I just had to bite my tounge or lie. However, my old car was slow as hell (4cyl MX3). In conclusion, I would say, put in a nice MP3 capable head unit, forgo the laptop for now (you don't really have that much data to log if you aren't going anywhere) and get the go fast parts. After a while (and when the tech. gets up to speed) Then put in the laptop or go for a bodykit. Otherwise I would have to agree with the gentlemen that suggested that you go 1 for 1 show and go parts.

thats just my opinion...

I would go for a body kit, but the only ones I really like are the wide body kits an those are WAAAAAAYYYY out of my price range. I'd like to have more "go" before I get a body kit any way.
hehe... ditto.

you can get a nice set of HID system for $400-500.
IMO, they are not ricey at all and light up the road much better then stock lights. only drawback is loosing high-beam.

anyway, LCD and laptop sound pretty interesting though.

the C-West or Amemiya lights dont light up worse than the stockers...but not that much better. you would think that $1000+ would give you better lighting, but its more for show.

i personally think the C-West sleek lights look tight!
