I guess I will be the first to say it. Use the search function. all of the questions youve asked on both of your threads have been discussed many times. Also, check out the FAQ. This forum is filled with extremely valuable info, and is populated by some highly intelligent people.
I would suggest not driving the car at all until you spend some time reading here. What you described can cause engine failure very very quickly, and you will likely not know about it until its too late.

good luck, and welcome to the forum.

all I can say is that if you are overheating it is not because of the type of oil that you use.

How do you know your car is overheating? you say the temp gauge remains halfway up. Yes I know the temp gauge is inacurate but if you truly overheat that gauge will show it. The problem with the stock gauge is that it does not move until it's too late.

1. Oil is not your problem. Use the owner's manual recommendation or make a decision based on 5000 threads on this forum that have already discussed it.

2. Download the factory service manual from the stickied thread or buy one.

3. Be more specific with your thread titles.

Thanks.

If you KNOW that you'r overheating i.e. you have an aftermarket temp gauge, then try replacing the t-stat. The thermostat is "behind" the filler neck. Remove the filler neck housing and replace the thermostat with an OEM one from Mazda. Don't forget to insert it with the "jiggle pin" at the twelve o'clock position. If you need more info about oil and/or overheating/replacing the t-stat, do a search (by title). There's hundreds of threads about it.
