HELP!!! major boost problems not vacuum hoses
my boost cuts out at 4500 rpm. i thought no biggie just the turbo control acuator solenoids slipped off. i checked and cannot find an unconnnected hose anywhere. if you go past 4500 rpm then shift to another gear quickly you wont get any boost in that gear unless you let off the accelerator then gas it again. the autosportracetech.com place said this might have a problem to do with my vacuum chamber (says boost comes back because chamber rechargees) but i think it is working properly and can't see any leaking hoses around there. anyone have any bright ideas or insight? if you know what the problem is how is it fixed THANX

Sounds like a TCA problem, but I think more accurately it would be a Charge relief valve issue. At 4500 rpm this should open allowing 2ndary boost to be added to the primary. But if it leaks, I would think you get no boost.

This website it awesome for troubleshooting, and has a paragraph or two devoted to CRV testing and proper functioning. Check it out.

It could even be the wastegate solenoid/actuator/hoses. When you say the boost cuts out, do you mean 0psi, or just not the full 10psi? Honestly, there are so many things it could be that you might as well make a list and check everything, crossing things off the list as you go. If it's not hoses/solenoids/actuators/check-valves then maybe you have a more serious problem with the turbo itself.
