I installed a remote door lock on a 93 rx7 and have a problem, that when I use it the stock alarm goes off. I need to find a way of deactivating the alarm. It would be nice if the alarm would still work, however I must stop it from going off when I open the remote locked door. I understand the alarm is only doing its job, as it sees the window being broken into and some one reaching in to unlock the inside door handles. Thanks if anyone can help me

you can disable the stock alarm or you can ground out the door keylock signal wire--this will make the stock alarm think the key was inserted and unlocked.

Have any idea where I can reach these wires, and what color are they? Does the wire have to be cut?

Ground the wire that goes to the small micro switch on the hood latch. Doing this will trick the factory alarm to thinking the hood is open therefore never turning on.
