help! installed engine and it smokes(white) like a pig

hello,
i decided to keep the rotary engine and not go with the v8 swap,,,, which might have been a mistake....
i put my engine back in, which has 1800mi, street port, 3mm seals, garret single turbo, 3 in DP and exh.
I dropped the engine back in, bolted everything down, connected everything. Before i added coolant i fired it up, for no more than 20 secs, didnt rev it or anything. It idled at 1400 becuase i didnt have a vac line on. I killed it, and did a few more things, fired it up again and ran it for even less time, and it was cooled off from the previous fire up. (no smoke at this point or loud ringing of the add coolent light/buzzer)--go figure it had no coolant in it.
Anyhow, bolted up the IC and radiator, added coolent and fired it up this time to warm it up completly. It did the usual light blue smoke on fire up from the 2 cycle oil, then that went away and maybe 30 secs later it started smoking a shitload of white smoke. It doesnt smell sweet like antifreeze, still had the 2 cycle/exhaust smell to it. It warmed up all the way and still the same thing, tons of white smoke. The add coolant light is on and so is the ringing tone that idicates to add more coolant. So i topped it off again, disconnected the battery for a minute and fired it up again. Same thing, the light/ringer turned on after 5 secs.
I know when i pulled the LIM off the engine earlier in the year, there was a significant amount of water in the smaller lower rectangle intake ports. Last year before i pulled the engine, it did not smoke white smoke at all...
The gas is definatly old (5-6months) as well as the premix in it, i have about 1/3 tank of gas left.
Did i kill the water gasket/seals by firing it up with no coolant? -even though it ran for less than half a minute?
Do i maybe have something hooked up wrong with the intake mani that is causing it to inject water into the engine?
Thanks to anyone that can help me out!!

for the colent ringing check the black single wire connetor buy the ac pump, two black plugs go together, it happend to me, also make sure that your oil from the filler is going to the intake via thehose and pcv vavle, my blew tons of whit smoke due to built up pressure in the oil system, the oil could not flow down the drain tube from the turbo via gravity so it was forced through the bearing into the intake..instant booyahs. those were what i expierenced, maybe itll help you

i've seen this before on some of my friends 7's check your pcv valve it could be bad. this could cause your car to smoke. i got rid of mine and plugged up the hoses to and from the oil filler neck. note: on the 95 model mazda got rid of the pcv valve.

What you guys have told me seems to make a lot of sense...
Its too late now for me to fire it up and test it, but on the oil filler neck, theres two outlets for vac lines to go on. Like a dumbass and not thinking anything of it, i cut a vac line and connected those two to each other. Once i fired it up and it got a little warmer, the idle went to 3000 (this was with coolant) i noticed that there was a leak from under the UIM. so i capped that bitch off and the idle went down to 900. WELL,,, from what you guys said, thats my PCV valve (it works too!) Soo tomorow im going to reconnect it, how it should be.
On the oil filler neck, the upper outlet goes to the PCV valve, what about the lower outlet on the filler neck?--cap it off?
--as for that goddamn buzzer, i will check that wire tomorow. Is it the one that goes to the sensor that is located on the water pump? a single black wire is the one im thinkin of, dont remember if shes plugged in or not, but the funny thing is, it didnt sound off with zero coolant.. WTF

anyhow, thanks for everyones help!!! And if anyone else has more input, it as well will be greatly appreciated!!!!
thanks again

Check the boost sensor. There's a little black boost sensor mounted on the firewall with a vacuum hose and check valve coming out the bottom of it that should be connected. Your car will smoke like crazy and bog like crap if it is not connected.

The line that points down goes to a metal tube that runs on top of the motor and comes out near where the primary turbo was and a vac line hooked to the primary inlet elbow. As for your set-up, I dunno if it needs to be there or not...

woke up this morning and had a good feeling. I actually ran that vac line from the filler neck to its proper location and bigity-bang the ************* rumble. NO more white smoke! thanks to all that helped me.
Unfortunatly, all my connections are fine, my cooling system is filled all the way, and that damn buzzer is still going off! The temp is a little bit under half way, like how it used to be. Any suggestions? im going to search for any topics on it, if i dont find anything, ill make another thread.
thanks again!
