Help identifying vacuum

My stock twins arent runnin the normal boost they should be so i took out some of the piping to check the vacuum hoses like the Autosport Race Tech site says. I come across these 2 different open pipes (circled in red), maybe they are supposed to be connected or should i cap them? I'm not sure what to do.

I also noticed that this harness was unplugged and was wondering if anyone could tell me what it is for.

Well one of those goes to your nonexistant air pump so dont worry about the grey connector, vacuum hoses can be looked up in the service manual if you have one and if not you can download it on the forum

Ok, the pipe in the foreground is not used on manual cars. The shinny one down under the UIM as best as I can tell from the rats nest sitting in front of me goes to the EGR solenoid right below it.

I think the blue connector goes to the egr valve sensor on the cali cars with electronic sensor.

You may want to check the 2 solenoids in front of the uim turbo control and wastegate solenoids, they looked switched.

Nice catch. Having these switched will produce 7-8psi, IIRC.
