Help identifying this turbo manifold

This came with a bunch of parts and I'm not quite sure what it is. Obviously it's a divided T4 manifold for an RX-7 (very likely for the FD specifically), but don't know much beyond that.

It looks a lot like the manifold that rx7store sells, but maybe an older version or something. I'd also like to identify the wastegate flange on it. The ultimate goal will be to sell this eventually, but I don't want to mislead or inaccurately represent it!

Thanks for any help!

Yup, thats an E-Bay manifold. I recommend getting something else, but if you do use it make sure you get in there and grind down any boogers (the welds inside are horrible) to make sure it doesn't dislodge later on and take out your turbo. I've seen this happen way too many times.

Also make sure the runners going to the wastegate are actually opened up. I've seen some where the 1.5 inch tube actually only had a 1/4 inch hole drilled into the exhaust runners that lead to the wastegate runners.

If you clean it up you can use it with some success, although i would say don't be surprised if it cracks or something lets loose and takes out your turbo.

Goodluck

Ah, bummer. I was a bit skeptical with the welds, but was hoping it wasn't a cheapo manifold.

Thanks for the confirmation though! I definitely don't plan on using it - I just want to be able to accurately represent it when I try to sell it. At least now I can let any potential buyer know that it might be an OK budget manifold, but that they should be aware of some things.

Brent,

Funny seeing you here. I'm the guy that bought your Blue TDI. It's still running... 365k miles on the clock or so...

Good luck selling the manifold.

Hah, awesome! I miss that car sometimes...ended up buying a 2012 Passat TDI to get back into the 40+ mpg realm, but it doesn't even begin to approach the 50ish the older TDIs could get. Anyway, great to hear it's still going strong! The guy I bought it from was a TDI enthusiast and put the first 200k+ on it, so it should be one of the better-maintained cars out there!
