Help with identifying this pipe?

Hi guys,

I'm resembling a motor but I can't remember what this pipe is for and where is goes? Possibly part of the rats nest for water/oil/fuel?

Doesn't that pipe have a flange that bolts up to to the intake? Or does this pipe connect to that pipe and the to the exhaust?
