The sales add says its a mazdaspeed 2 way lsd. These are the only pics, I dont know what code these are suppose to be stamped with. Can anybody help to identify this LSD.
Think you'll find the engraved marks are for the crownwheel rather than the centre - I've seen exact same letter number combo on a 4.3 or 4.4 with a non plate diff. You wouldn't be able to tell if it's a 2 way without pics of one of the other "windows" to see the ramps. Despite the mazdaspeed cache, I wouldn't get too excited about those cheap diffs....fewer plates, less surface area than the usual suspects.

ahh thanks for the info man. I have been trying to find a lsd already in a pumpkin, where im at there arent any shops that i know of that do lsd installs/rebuilds.
I see it, fitting welded on for an oil cooler suggests it might have been used a bit hard?
You're in a bit of a difficult position, really need to have somebody able to test breakaway and periodically service - worst case, you could have an open diff. If I'm remembering right, Nissin (not Nissan) does the various rough cast OEM LSDs over there.
I've seen Cusco, OS and Kaaz come up from time to time, which probably have better support spares wise, if you want to buy 2nd hand....weirdly see a fair few 1 way types.....and nothing mentioned in the auction, to catch the unwary.
