Help identifying an a/c line

My mechanic told me that the high pressure line that runs in between the compressor and the condensor is leaking. He said it was about 2 feet long and I believe he said it was on the passenger side of the car. I am assuming this is the same line that has the release valve for the high side of the system because it is about 2 feet long and runs along the passenger side of the car. The problem is that I know this does not run to the condensor, it connects to a longer high pressure line that runs along the front of the car under the air box, intercooler and battery.

Is there a different high pressure line that he could be referring to? Where is the compressor located? I don't want to buy the line, pay to get a vacuum put on the system and have it refilled only to find that I replaced the wrong a/c line and will have to do it again. Thanks!

The compressor is below the power steering pump ,the condensor is in front of the radiator. Now go back to the mechanic and have him show you for sure the bad hose, then no costly mistake or argument. So easy to get it right the first time
