Help Identify This Part

So me and my buddy were swapping out the diff in his car for another one he had and on the way out this little black rubber piece fell out on the ground. I've never seen one before. IDK what it is and hes freaking out about it so i figured id ask yall. LMK if anybody knows.

it goes between the diff bushing and the "bracket" the diff bushing bolts to in the rear subframe, to keep it from klonking sideways Tell him to breathe slowly and relax, no harm done
