Help identifing CCA(Charge Control Acuater)

If someone could please take a picture and show me where exactly it is located. I'am having a hard time finding it. What are the tell tell signs it is a CCA. I'am having a boost problem and I'am going down the chain. This is really what I think it is since my secondary isn't pre spooling.

Please, if you could take a pic that would hit the nail on the head!

Also if I take off the UIM, where is the TCS(turbo control acuater or soleniod). I heard this hose pops off sometimes and was wondering where exactly is it located.

sorry i don't have a pic, but if you take off the secondary turbo inlet (rubber part) look basically straight down and it should be there. if you still can't find it, you can follow the cossover tube towards the y-pipe and where the split is go to the back of the car. it'll be on top of the pipe. it's a little barrel looking thing with 2 vacuum hoses and some linkage attached. hope that wasn't confusing

i think that the solenoid is the 3rd one from the front in the rack.

the actuator is easily seen from the bottom of the car. it is a large canister directly under the turbos. imediately above the subframe.

OK I think I found what you are talking about. It looks kinds like the dashpot. It has 2 hoses going into it and a metel rod thingy coming out the back connecting to the y pipe. Is that metel rod thingy supposed to be the rod going in and out when I turn the car from off to on back and forth, not starting it but aux power.

sounds like you have it.

if i recall correctly, when the car is off, the acuator is in "twin turbo" mode. when you turn the key on or are at idle, it should be the opposite way.

Sorry dont mean to be an idiot, but which is which. Metel rod in=twinturbo mode or the opposite? Besides that point, if I labeled the CCA correctly then it is not working properly. Either it's not getting vacuum to pull the rod or the CCA is blown. How do I go about checking. This is the first good lead I have after checking a **** load of things, YIPPIE!!!!!

the rod should be extended when the car is turned off. at idle it should be retracted.
