Hoping someone can help with this one.

I've bought an Optima Yellow top battery for my '96 RX7 but I have come across one problem I didn't realise would happen. The positive terminal bracket will not reach the post on the battery.

The post is almost in the middle of the battery.

Has anyone had this problem and could they solve it?

Just relocate it. You can buy like a 125$ kit from Summitracing.com with cables and pick up 15amp breaker or whatever like I did.

 

you need to get the orange top. The posts are on the edge and they have reversed terminals

I had a ~5" cable made to go from the fuse box to the terminal. It cost about 5 bucks. PM me and I'll try to find some pics when I get home.
