help finding out what this part is, what is this?

it goes under the primary fuel rail, around where the injectors are., its some kinda gasket/oring type of thing

jayspec already anwsered it for you. cal ray at malloy mazda for them he will know and get you the right part. yes it will leak boost/fuel mix under boost without them.

 

its an injector insulator

Ray has them...3 bucks and some change

 

hmmm some say injector grommet and some say injector insulator, are these the same thing?

 

grommet can be used as a term for insulator

Grommet - A small metal or plastic (*could be rubber*)ring used to reinforce such an eyelet.
