Why 2 cats? It will be much complicated, wouldn't it restrict flow?

The FD specific unit is not that expensive....

I still do not understand what you are trying to achieve by installing two cats. Are you trying to get the thing to pass smog? Whats the point? It all sounds like a big waste of money.

I see you are trying to pass California smog. Why not just run one large Cat for the test and then take it off. Even if you do find sombody to overlook the visual inspection, the swap is still not legal so you may as well just run a resonated midpipe after the test is done.

well, i need to pass the CA sniff test (visual part is lets say... taken care of ) .

after passing smog theres absolutely no reason to take the cat off. my 67MGB ******* STINKS with no cat... hair, clothes, girlfriend ... everything smells like exhaust after a ride. a regular 13b would be that times 20! in addition to that i figure if im driving a 20b around i should at LEAST do my best to reduce my emissions, why make more of an impact than i need to? i cant see any reason whatsoever for someone to remove the cat on their rx7. its simply irresponsible, and a health concern and nuisance for myself and everyone in proximity to me..... for what ? a savings of a couple HP? thats the ******* joke right there, everyone pulling off their cats cause there too cheap to replace it with a high flow cat, or think theyre gonna save a few HP. trust me, half burnt fuel is not a great cologne, and if you want a couple extra HP worth of performance just go on a diet. oh, and by the way... guess how many cats came with the 20b cosmo from the factory? -heath
