Exclamation Help FD wont start

I own a 94 touring.

Well heres what happened. I first hear a whizz-whizz-whizz sound when i start the car and notice its coming from the air pump area but i dont know what it could be. The sounds pretty loud but gets quieter after awhile. Then after i started it up the next day i find that it takes longer to start. Then the next day even harder then finally it just stops and wont crank any more. When i turn the key it just clicks and nothing. Thanks in advanced.

Sounds like a bad battery or your alternator is failing. Was you charging idiot light coming on?

it takes a lot more power to start a car than to power lights and radios. The battery or alternator is most likely gone. Though i heard of a similar problem and the guy had a bad spark plug. go figure
