Unhappy Help coolant

so my add coolant light would come on every once and a while and then go off after like 20 seconds. This time it stayed on. So i checked my coolant and it did not have anything in it. I went and got coolant put it in and then the coolant started to come out of a hole about a 1/4 in diameter about one inch towards the front of the car from the neck on the radiator coolant deposit. This hole is on top of the coolant tank and definitely is suppose to be there. Anywho there is alot of coolant staying in there and the "Add coolant light" is still on. Anytime i try to add more coolant it starts to come out of that hole though. Am i over filling it? I dont think so cause a manual i read for a 93 rx7 on the web said it can hold 8.8 litres but the plastic thing attached to the lid of the radiator coolant tank cap says "L" on the bottom then about 4 - 5 inches up it says "F" and the coolant is way above that but im only trying to use a 3.75L bottle.

PLEASE HELP ME.

when you start your car do you have pressure in your radiator hoses. "With the car running but not hot give those hoses a lil squeeze"
