hey guys heres my problem, i store the car during winter and did a headlight conversion,bumper, now i finally go to start the car today and it turns and turns but wont turn over and my odometer doesnt turn on neither does my stereo. i drained the gas out and put new gas in . please help me as i need my car on the road asap. i did searchs already but found nothing to which i think applies to my situation. any help is greatly appreciated.

 

ALSO the cars shifter is stuck in park and cannot shift out.

 

Have you checked all the fuses?

Check all your grounds to the chassis. I had this problem last year when helping a friend put his fd back together and he had the same probs that you do other than it being stuck in park. Sorry I know I am a newb but I have went through this once and I know how aggrevating wiring on the fd can be and I usually wont say anything unless it needs to be said.

Check the drivers side of the car where the grounds are attached to the chassis behind the battery that was where my problem was.
