Help! Can't find a Cat for my FD!

I just imported my rx-7 from Japan. It's a '92 (still 3rd gen cause it's from Japan) and it needs a catalytic converter. I need advice where to find one. I ordered one from a website and got a generic model that was advertised to fit my car. My mech said it was wrong, needed an airtube (hose?) and should be a stock part. Can someone direct me to a better site to order the part, or does anyone know a model number or something?

THx!

If you just need a stock cat, post in the Classifieds, should be a piece of cake to find a good stock cat on the cheap.

If you want an upgraded cat, the Bonez cat from Rotary Performance is a good entry-level cat. The SMB cat is excellent as far as fit and flow is concerned, but passing emissions with it is another question.

Bobo universal cats won't cut it - you have to have one that's designed to take the rotary's insane heat.

All you have to do is search on the most common rotary web sites.
