Help can anyone tell me what my autometer sould be reading at idle

I need to know if my autometer guge is reading correctly at idle. At 940-1000 rpm it reads 10psi. Is this ok??? If I lower the RPM to 880 it reads about 5psi-opsi.
I need to know if I'm damaging the engine.

Also what should it be reading on acceleration and on boost??

Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks Diego

u mean 10kpa vacume? or 10 psi boost?

its basically impossible to make that kinda boost @ idle so im guessing its vaume.. 15kpa is around the norm @ 750rpms usally the higher the idle the lower the vac

with engine warm, holding rpms at 3k you should see 50 psi minimum.

OE, yes. They get fouled very easily.
