Check your CCA(charge control acuater), if you don't know what that is its on the Y-pipe junction with 2 hoses going into it and a little rod coming out the other end. Have someone turn on(not start just aux power) and off your car and see if the rod is being pulled in or not. If it does all the time then it's ok, if not you have your idea what you need to do. Also check your y-pipe/connecter pipe gasket. IC hoses might have a rip in them. Also spray some WD-40 around all rubber hoses when the idle speed picks up you have a leak, just make sure you have a fire extinguisher around just in case. Check your CRV(charge relief valve) to see if working. Pull it out attach small rubber hose to the small rubber connection on the CRV. Have someone blow on the big end while u suck the rubber hose on the little end. He should only be able to blow through it when you are sucking in through the little hose. The CRV is the BOV looking thing but it will be labled CRV and not BOV.

Hope this helps,
Jonas

I did the wd40 trick and the idle didnt budge...I believe the boost has gotten weaker, now it seems to struggle to make 2 psi...all the rest is stiil great, idle, vacuum...everything else normal....

When you did the test for boost leaks, could you pinpoint exactly where the air was coming from?

The easiest way to trouble shoot for boost leaks for me is to remove and reattach and tighten all the damn hoses from the intakes to the Throttle body. Visually inspecting the IC couplers is tough to determine if a leak is gonna occur under load/boost.

have you replaced your stock y-pipe?
the coupler that runs vertically would be the first thing I would check.

Pcola, did you get my last email?
I believe the only place I heard/felt air was under the pressure tank, like we talked about, the y pipe coupler I replace recently, you guys think it could split in a couple months? any of you guys {particularly in Florida} got the IC hoses I could buy/borrow? I want to get Greddy pipes or others but not just yet...

Ok, I know why air is coming out of thise pipes. The square formation of pipes that would have hoses going to the precontrol and wastegate actuators (if you were still using them) get their vacuum source from just in front of the primary turbo inlet. On the plastic intake pipe that attaches to the primart turbo, there are two hoses, pinch them off and do the leak test again. BTW it would be a good idea to cap off those open pipes, beacuse (however unlikely) something could get sucked in to the pipe(s) and go through your primary compressor.
