help with boost issue after vaccuum install

I just completed a vacuum hose install today and the car started up just fine. Vacuum at idle was around 18 mmHg, which is better than the 12 mmHg before the install. The problem I was having was that my secondary turbo never seemed to want to come on. So I did the install and here I am.

Well..... the car wont boost, it falls on its face when i give it some gas. I also get a check engine light as soon as the car starts up and it doesnt go away. Now here are the things i've been wondering about. On the UIM there are three connectors total, black with yellow, black with orange, and white. I plugged the black with yellow one on the underside of the UIM with the connector thats angled almost straight down. Where the white one goes, when i was connecting it, it stretched a little and the wires came out the back. I reattached the wires into the back of the connector but I put them in the way that i thought they went, I'm not sure if I crossed them or not. The black with orange connector went to the other connection. When i reattached the spark plug wires to the ignitors, how much would crossing the L1 and L2 make a difference in performance since thats a mistake i'm not ruling out?

As far as the vacuum hoses go, I'm pretty sure everything went were it was supposed to, but i have an automatic and there a a few differences in the diagram, but I did find a diagram with those differences included. Also, I used mcmaster check valves instead of the stock ones of which two broke. I replaced every check valve that was one way. That totalled to be five, one of which i believe is only on automatics.

Any suggestions would be great. I did some searches but it seems that people who have had the same problem, post it in a thread, but never come back and write their solution.

Step #1: Pull the CEL codes

As for the leading plugs, they both fire at the same time so it's not a big deal if you swapped L1 and L2 around.

You read my mind, I was just looking there. Well, I guess one good thing that will come out of this is that I'll learn how to check engine codes. I cant do this till tomorrow, since I'm going down to Columbia tonight to see my girlfriend. I'll report back tomorrow after on the situation after checking the codes. My gf is having me and some of her friends, mostly girls, go to a strip club tonight, so I think i'll pass on the engine codes till tomorrow.

Given your circumstance...I totally understand, and 100% agree with your decision

ok, update. I get two error codes, 20 and 26. Metering oil pump position sensor (20), metering oil pump stepper motor (26). Where are the connections to check and make sure the MOP is plugged in? And the reason why the car is running like *** is because it's in limp mode right?

I've done a lot of searches on the oil metering pump and people that pull code 20 or 26, but I cant really figure out which connection or wire I'm looking for. If I have just done a vacuum hose job and the car sat for a week but was running good beforehand, could anything have seriously gone wrong with the OMP or is it just a connection?
