help!!backfiring when starting

heres the story...my dumb *** boss flooded my engine when my car was running he pushed the throttle cable forward and flooded my engine a . I did the whole un flood procedure and got it running again. After I let it run for a good 20 min I turned it off and tried to restart and all i am getting is backfiring. It wants to start but it backfires like a single shotgun round. .....the fuel tank is low but would that be the problem?

How old are the plugs? Change them out and try again. Sometimes you can foul a old plug when you try to do the unflood stuff. I have before, maybe not everytime, but with old ones, seems like I always had to change them out afterwards.
