Heater hose connector snapped.

Recently my heater core died on me and I can't get it re-paired so i bypassed it and the car was alive again. On my way to work however the the plastic nipper that holds the silicon tube broke right off leaving me with a lack of car once again -.-

Im not even supposed to work on my car in my building (already got in a bunch of trouble for getting to the heater core) so I was wondering if anyone knew what part I need to replace. Its the one lower on the engine, I will take some pictures later if you don't know what I'm talking about.

Thanks for your help guys!

in the future that connector is just to make it simpler to install the engine at the factory. if in a pinch you can take the plastic connector completely off, slide the hose onto the metal end over the protrusion and clamp it down.

IIRC that nipple is long but doesn't have a flare on it like the plastic connector. So when I deleted it I double clamped mine.

it has a lip but it is about 1" up the connector, you can double clamp it as well to keep the hose from ballooning up.

Yes, double-clamping worked for us too.
