Heads-up on Pineapple Racing group buy

Hey guys,

Just giving a heads-up that I'm organizing a group buy on the new Pineapple Racing airpump elimination pulley kit for the FD. The kit replaces the air pump with an idler pulley, so that the belt continues to make good contact with the water pump. The idler pulley is smaller than the stock AP pulley so it allows more room for large single turbos. The Group Buy price is $239, which includes a new serpentine belt and shipping in the US.

water pump seems to work fine with my underdriven main (smaller), underdriven ALT and WP (larger) pullies and my $20 belt.

Hi Blake! Hope things are well!

IMHO this is a REALLY nice product idea and one that should have been developed some time back. Good contact of the belt to the water pump is a good idea, as belt slippage can many times not go detected and you end up with phantom overheating problems, especially on a track car.

If I was planning on ditching my air pump, I'd be hookin' up on this deal .

Nice kit. Glad to see them trying again to make parts, I just hope his engine quality picks up too.

The group buy is going pretty well, so far. Orders placed were shipped the same day, so those guys should have the kits in their hands in the next couple days. What I need to know is, how many people left are planning to order...perhaps waiting on a paycheck or just haven't gotten around to making the phone call? If it's only a few, I will take the names so they can lock in the price and the group buy can be closed out. If there are quite a few lollygaggers who really want to keep the group buy open for a bit longer, so they can round up the funds before committing, I can keep the GB open for a bit longer. I just want people to understand that the $239 price is not going to be around for long, so act now or expect to pay more in the near future.

BTW, I'm not a regular in the FD section, so PM me with any questions or comments that need a quick response.

Hey those are a great idea
Mine has been running strong after beta 2.0 and no belt squeal with even with correct stock tension.
Don’t mind the antifreeze, had to take out the AST to even get that last pic.
