headlights only work if I have my left turn signal on
headlights only work if I have my left turn signal on
My lights randomly stopped working. They will pop up and down if I push the button on the dash, but they will not come up, nor will the lights come on if I twist the turn signal (headlights).
However, if I twist the turn signal and I push the lever down - left hand turn signal - the lights pop up and turn on.
I need some advice....

short in the harness somewhere , check under the left side front wheel well and see if the wheel rubbed the wires . otherwise you may need to check thee front harness seems like the left turn signal wire somehow got mixed up with the relay feed to the lights

It sounds like contacts in or near the lever. You'll need to disassemble the stalk, and check all of your contacts and wires. Its probably helping it make contact by pulling it down. Its your only real shared point of failure where the left turn signal and headlight signals share an interactive space.
