headlight wont close

headlight wont close
i just bought an 1992 rx7 and the left headlight wont close all the way because it is just touching the hood. i have a spare headlight but is there any reajusting i could do?

Can you take a picture of what's hitting the hood?
The headlight assembly is basically held in with two bolds to the rear and inside of the assembly to the car. Then there are some smaller bolts at the top. There is a little bit of room for adjustment, but it depends on how far out of wack your headlight is currently.

it said it had very light damage but didnt say where and i cant get pictures because they are to big of a file. the lights will open a bit but then they get stuck and need you just to pull it abit. its on the front right corner faceing the hood

I have this problem with my right headlight. The front edge of the headlight can just touch the front bumper keeping it from closing completely. It happened after I had removed the cover, but not the headlight. Just a bit of push/pull and it would clear enough to close. In my case I think it is the 99 style bumper that doesn't fit quite perfectly.
