headlight switch, wiring question

I have sleek headlights, so the headlight switch that pops them up is no longer needed. I want to put this switch to use for an accessory in the sleek headlights. I thought I could just plug into the harness that used to plug into the motor.

I just tapped the power and ground, in the 4 wire plug and when i pushed the headlight pop up switch it worked perfect.

The problem that i soon discovered is that the power wire in that plug is also controlled by the headlight combination switch, so any time i turn the lights on the accessory goes on as well. Is there a way to use this wire but cut the signal coming from the combination switch that turns the headlights on?

I know, crazy question haha. but I really want to use the switch and the wire is in the perfect spot.

Well I figured it out for anyone else that wants to know in the future. You just go to the headlight actuator relay, and snip off the pin that provides power from the combination switch. Now the only thing that will activate it will be the pop up button. The relay looks like this:

snip the one the arrow points to (bottom left).
