Headlight scoop/air intake combos

What combination of warm-air intake and headlight scoop would provide the most functionality? I'm leaning towards the Pettit/Feed combination, but that's just guesstimation from pics. If anyone has some more concrete information, I'd appreciate it.

Feed and C-West both make them, but the C-West one is too angular. Probably looks better with one of their kits, which I'm not a huge fan of.

I dont know about the combos but I heard the pettit intake wasn't very good. Some people were saying the intake isnt very cold and it actually draws in more hot air. But I haven't tested it.

N-tech and the Feed is what I have. Sorry no pic though.
The thing is that I never drive in the
rain. If you do you might want to carry a small towel
everywhere you go. Water is not good for the intakes/Turbos.

The N-tech has a metal duct that pushes more air to the intakes as well...

Get realistic guys, those headlight covers don't do anything other than make your car look like you added a cheezy $100 bolt-on part. How tasteless, and remarkably non-functional.

nocab, I think your car would look much better without that cover.

The N-Tech, M2, and possibly the Pettit ones are designed to draw air from between the radiator and frame rail. The opening there is larger in terms of area than the two 2.75" pipes going to the turbos.

Therefore, if you add the headlight vent, all you are doing is giving the filters multiple pathways. You are not increasing the air flow.

It is a styling question :-)

Now, if you put a large NACA duct or some sort of snorkel on there to create a ram air setup, you might help it breath.

Hmmm, with the turbos, all you would be doing is creating a higher atmospheric pressure, If your system was capable of venting excess pressure (i.e.- blow off) to keep things at 10 PSI, then you wouldn't add any power by putting a ram air setup on a turbo engine.

Does that sound correct?

I agree.

If you look at the nose of the car; at speed, consider it the leading edge of a wing. The headlight cover duct is sitting at the top of what is a low pressure area-I doubt it can force air into the engine bay thru the duct, given the pressure differences.
